The Eight Chakras
75
Chakras:
How many Chakras are there?
Many are to believe there are only (7) seven Chakras however there are many others who believe there are (8) eight Chakras.
What are Chakras used for?
For balancing the inner being through meditations for many different reasons. Each reason is person specific.
What are the location names of the Chakras?
8th Chakra - (common explanation) Trans-personal / Soul Purpose - There isn't much information on this Chakra, however I will update as soon as I find out any more on the 8th Chakra. Because of the newness of this newly discovered Chakra and the lack of knowledge into it this Chakra will be excluded in the following explanations.
7th Chakra - Sahasrara
6th Chakra - Ajna
5th Chakra - Vishuddha
4th Chakra - Anahata
3rd Chakra - Manipura
2nd Chakra - Svadisthana
1st Chakra - Muladhara
Do the Chakras have a common English location name?
Yes and here they are in order:
8th Chakra - (common explanation) Trans-personal / Soul Purpose
7th Chakra - Sahasrara =Crown
6th Chakra - Ajna = Third Eye / Pineal Gland
5th Chakra - Vishuddha = Throat
4th Chakra - Anahata = Heart
3rd Chakra - Manipura = Solar Plexus
2nd Chakra - Svadisthana = Spleen
1st Chakra - Muladhara = Base or Root
Do Charkras have colors connected to them?
Yes, they do.
Unknown Color for the 8th Chakra however if I had a color to place to the 8th Chakra, it would be Iridescence. Iridescent to me is the combination and soft mixture of many pastel colors. Most things Iridescent appear to have a higher dimensional awareness to them like a bubble or the inside of a shell which is commonly used for smudging.
Purple, 7th Chakra Crown, Sahasrara
Indigo- 6th Chakra, Third Eye Pineal Gland, Ajna
Blue - 5th Chakra, Throat, Vishuddha
Green - 4th Chakra, Heart Charkra, Anahata
Yellow - 3rd Chakra, Solar Plexus, Manipura
Orange - 2nd Chakra, Spleen, Svadisthana
Red - 1st Chakra, Base or Root, Muladhara
What are the colors of the Chakra used for?
Usually and most commonly coordinate with many types of therapies such as balance therapy and stone therapy.
What do the Chakras connect to?
8th Chakra - (common explanation) Trans-personal / Soul Purpose - Perhaps this Chakra would connect the other 7 chakras of the physical being to the Spirit/Soul in order to allow OBE/AP and return from OBE/AP. However this is my perception of the 8th Chakra and there is no known universal knowledge of this Chakra as of yet.
Purple, 7th Chakra Crown, Sahasrara - Connects you with messages from higher realms or beings. Can be experienced as a pressure on the top of the head or for some appear to be like a sinus or allergy headache. Spiritual connections such as the understanding and the knowing of (God or higher Being) and to feel or be the bliss of it all.
Indigo- 6th Chakra, Third Eye , Ajna - Often connected to the forehead. Is an 'eye' with capabilities of looking upward into the realm of which many others cannot.
Blue - 5th Chakra, Throat, Vishuddha - Tied to vocal creativity and vocal communications. The throat most commonly feels a pressure when you are not communicating with your personal emotions properly.
Green - 4th Chakra, Heart Charkra, Anahata – This Chakra is tied to the heart for good reasons. The heart feels love, compassion and all emotions.
Yellow - 3rd Chakra, Solar Plexus, Manipura – This is the intellect connection. We use this chakra for external sight and cognition.
Orange - 2nd Chakra, Spleen, Svadisthana - Located just beneath the navel, and related to our sexual and reproductive capacity. This chakra is connected deeply with the heart chakra. Our emotional connections to others lie here. If this chakra is out of whack you can feel overly loving or promiscuous or the complete opposite as someone who is afraid to love or be loved.
Red - 1st Chakra, Base or Root, Muladhara - Base of the spine. This chakra connects us to others of the physical world and all things within it. It is said a knowledge of creation lies here. The 1st chakra grounds us in the physical world. Many people who induce OBE/AP use this 'root' to connect them to the ground prior to induction. This is commonly called rooting or grounding oneself. In the mind’s eye the inducer would imagine the root growing down both legs like the sciatic nerve, then proceeding down to the heel of the foot and crawling to the toes; once the roots reach the toes the inducer will imagine the roots growing out of the body and deep into the ground planting them to the physical world.
There are those who specialize in Chakras, I do not, however I believe healthy Chakras are a baseline for balance of gifted persons whether or not they know it.

THE EIGHTH CHAKRA IS THE HIRDAYA CHAKRA . THE LOCATION IS CENTRE OF BOTH THE NIPPLES. IT IS NOT THE PHYSICAL PART, BUT EMOTIONAL PART OF OUR BODY. BY MEDITATING ON THIS PARTICULAR POINT FOR ONE MINUTE ONLY THE CHAKRA CAN BE ACTIVATED. ONE MAY DEVELOP LOVE, AFFECTION, KINDNESS, AND SYMPATHY WITH OTHERS.,
